SUSTAINABILITY

We are serious about our impact on the environment at Little Light and we try and make our processes as sustainable as possible. Consistently over the last year these are the measure we have taken to reduce our footprint.

Media and Influencer mailers are a huge part of the day to day business of beauty PR and we have worked hard to make ours as environmentally friendly as possible. 

OUR BESPOKE BOXES

Little Light Mailer boxes are made from over 90% recycled materials and are 100% recyclable. The ink used on our boxes is vegetable ink, which unlike petroleum based ink is made from a sustainable source and makes paper easier to recycle.

NO PLASTIC BUBBLE WRAP

To make sure the products we send arrive safely, we use a honeycomb recycled cardboard equivalent which is 100% recycled and is widely and easily recyclable.

OUR TISSUE PAPER

We believe sustainable can still be attractive, so we use tissue paper made from recyclable and FSC guaranteed sources. It is also 100% biodegradable. The dye used is water based and non-toxic to so can be composted. We also recommend repurposing the tissue paper to reuse for your own crafts, or alternatively using it to soak up liquid in your food waste compost!

OUR COMPLIMENT SLIP

We have chosen to use un-laminated FSC Card, which is 100% recyclable in normal household recycling.

PAPER NOT PLASTIC TAPE

Made from 100% recycled paper and a natural latex adhesive which makes it biodegradable too.

THE NO LIST!

We do not use glitter, balloons, plastic packing or anything unnecessary boxing that ends up in landfill.

OUR POST

We post our parcels using our local post office and avoid unnecessary use of couriers to make sure our parcels to reach their destination without a huge carbon footprint.

WATER & COFFEE ON THE GO!

The Little Light team is busy and we are often on the go. All our team is issued with stainless steel water bottles and reusable coffee cups for trips out of the office.
